Summary of Entire Project Experience

We really liked this project, but we had some struggles with it, it was fun, and it was challenging, so that is was this summary will be about. Joseph and I really liked doing keynote, because it was fun, also, the best part was that it wasn't even that challenging. We all liked writing the blogs, because we thought it was fun (especially when we got to write what happened in the places we went to). But, of course, if anything is fun, and it's for a grade, there will usually be some struggles with it. Some struggles I had were doing having so many tasks, like the travel budget, my posts, and mapvivo, but Joseph took the job for doing mapvivo after he saw that I had a lot of things to do. Joseph had only one struggle, and it was trying to find restaurants with prices on their website. Colton had struggles at the beginning of the project because we were all working on Florida, so Colton got confused with where we were on the Florida blog. Lawrence had only one struggle too, when he always looked for something in Hartford, Illinois everything turned out to be in Hartford, Connecticut (just so you know, we were doing Hartford, Illinois instead of St Louis, Mssouri when we first started the project). So, the project gave us some struggles but it was still pretty fun, but we al still loved doing it!

Sacremento, California

Hi guys, it's me, Ali, as your narrator again, and we're going to Sacramento, California! First, we got to the RNO Airport so we could leave Lake Tahoe, and go to Sacramento, California, and I kept whining because I wanted to go to sleep, so they sang me a lullaby, and I went to sleep. So, then we got on the plane, the tickets cost $179.00 per person, so the total was $716.00. The plane left at 7:40 pm, and would arrive at the SMF Airport (the Sacramento, California airport) at 11:25 am, so it was a 15 hour and 45 minute fly. Lawrence was the first to fall asleep, he fell asleep at 8:00 pm, I fell asleep at 9:30 pm, Colton went to sleep at 11:00 pm, and Joseph went to sleep at 1:00 am. Colton woke up at 3:00 am, and held a picture of Lawrence up to my face, then woke me up, and I screamed and woke everybody up, and was told to quiet down. Then, at 6:30 am, everyone was awake. Then, finally, it was 11:25 am, and Colton was so happy because he didn't get thrown in plane jail this time. So, then we went into our Chevrolet TrailBlazer that cost $93.00 a day, so, since we're staying three days, the total would be $279.00. Then, we rode it to to our hotel, the Red Lion Hotel, we got the two double beds non-smoking room, which cost $136.10 per night, and since we're staying there 2 nights, it made a total of $272.20. We've spent a total of $1267.20 so far on this trip. We got there at 11:45 am, then we decided to go have breakfast (even though it was a little late) at Tower Cafe. We all got famous french toast for $5.95 each, so the total was $23.80. Colton was happy and kind of freaked out while eating his french toast. He was happy because he was eating something famous, but he was freaked out because if it was famous, then how come he didn't hear about it back in Mesquite. So then, when we finished at 12:30 pm, we decided to go back to the hotel, and watch some television. We watched until 1:30 pm because we decided to go get brunch at the California Cafe. I got the thai vegetable pasta for $14.50, Joseph and Lawrence got the Asian chicken salad for $11.00 each, and Colton got the napa chicken sandwich for $13.00, which makes a total of $49.50. Everyone had a good time there because Colton was lost in his chicken sandwich, so he didn't bother us this time. It was wonderful, peace loving time. When we were done, we decided to do something fun, we went to Raging Waters, a super fun water park. We got there at 2:15 pm, and the tickets cost $27.99 per person, which makes a total of $111.96. It cost a lot but it was worth it! First, we rode the Dragon's Den. It was awesome, we went down 5 stories in the slide, and then we fell down to the dragon's den, and Colton peed in his pants but since we were in the water, nobody noticed. Next we went to the Cliffhanger! We all raced each other down a big 6 story ride that felt like it went straight down, (but I couldn't tell) and here were the results of the race, Lawrence was first place, Joseph was second place, I was third place, and Colton was last place. Now it was 3:45 pm because the lines were super long! Anyway, we were getting hungry, so we decided to do one more ride and then leave, and we chose the Hurricane Bay Slide! It was scary and fun! We went down a big 6 story tunnel, and it was pitch black, but we went through twists and turns, until finally we fell into a pool and made a huge splash (especially Lawrence)! So then, it was 4:30 pm, so we decided to leave and go get lunch at 4th Street Grille. I got the classic burger for $8.95, Joseph got the 4th street club for $10.95, Colton got the grilled chicken for $11.95, and Lawrence got the new york steak for $16.95, which makes a total of $48.80. Colton got really mad by every bite that Lawrence took from his steak, but he didn't want this to be like New York, so he didn't do anything . . . for 5 seconds, then he went crazy and started wrestle with Lawrence, but of course we were all thrown out because of that. We all had enough food to survive until dinner, but I wanted to finish my burger, so I got mad at Colton and started to wrestle him, then Lawrence joined and we all fought, but Joseph just went back to the hotel. Then, when we noticed Joseph was gone, we all split up looking for him, but I knew he was in the hotel, so I went there and watched television with Joseph until Colton and Lawrence came back. When they came back, it was 7:10 pm, so we decided to go get dinner at Rio City Cafe. I got the turkey meatballs for $16.00, Joseph got the ravioli for $15.00, Colton got the penne pasta with pancetta for $14.00, and Lawrence was going to get the Angus prime rib, but then thought that Colton would attack him so he got the mussels for $17.00, which makes a total of $62.00. There, Lawrence was kind of sad because he didn't like fish, he wanted the Angus prime rib, but he knew Colton would've stopped him, so he got mad at Colton and he started fighting Colton. So, of course we were asked to leave, but it's weird that this time Colton didn't do anything. When we were done, it was 8:00 pm, so we decided to go back to the hotel and get some shut eye. The next day, Colton was the first to wake up, and he woke up at 7:00 am. So, he got close to my ear and screamed really loud, (but not loud enough to wake up people on other floors) and it scared me to death, first I fell off the bed and landed on the floor, then, that scream also woke up Lawrence so he screamed and fell off the bed and landed right on top of me, which hurt a lot. I fainted until 9:00 am, because Colton woke me up, then we decided to start our second day in Sacramento! We've spent a total of $1,563.26 on this trip so far.
First, we went to get breakfast at The Silver Skillet, which we got to at 9:15 am. I got the grilled chicken for $9.25, Joseph got the smoked turkey for $9.25, Lawrence got the lonely eggs for $4.95, and Colton got oatmeal for $2.95, which makes a total of $26.40. Colton was getting a lot of napkins for Lawrence, so he could use them as tissues because Colton thought that Lawrence was sad, and that's why Lawrence got the lonely eggs, so he would have a friend. But then, Lawrence ripped up all the tissues and was asked to clean them all up. By the time he was done, it was 10:00 am, and we were all finished with our food, so we left and went to the hotel, but left Lawrence there to finish his food. By the time he came back to the hotel, it was 10:30 am, so we decided to to go to the Gold Rush History Center. The admission was $5.00 per person, so the total was $20.00. First, we went to the community gallery. It showed stuff that people brought with them and what they did to create Sacramento, and it was so cool! Next, we went to the Lure of Gold. It was so cool, we saw different kinds of gold (and Lawrence wanted to steal some) and we learned that there are 26 to 28 varieties of gold in Sacramento (and Colton couldn't even count that high). Then, we went to the agricultural technology gallery! It was so cool, we got to see a lot of cool machines that were used to harvest crops in 1928, and we also learned that agriculture gave California $31.7 billion. Then, we went to the last thing we were going to in that museum, the McLathy 'changing' gallery. The exhibit we saw was Christmas on K street! It was so cool, but Colton kept wondering why they were talking about christmas, because it was September. We saw a lot of christmas things, and we saw how local department stores changed the Sacramentans celebrated and remembered the holidays! Then, it was 12:30, so we decided to go eat brunch at The Squeeze Inn. I got the breast of turkey sandwich for $4.85, Joseph got the hot dog for $3.85, Colton got the chicken taco for $2.90, and Lawrence got the corn dog for $1.95, which makes a total of $13.55. This time though, we made sure not to get anything made of cows, so Colton wouldn't get us kicked out. So, this time,we were all lost in our food, and were closing our eyes, focusing on only the taste of the food, except for Joseph. But then, when we were done with our food, we opened our eyes, and realized that we were all outside of the restaurant except for Joseph. So, when Joseph finished, it was 1:30 pm. So, we all went back to the hotel, and Joseph told us why we were all outside except for him. It turns out we got kicked out because the waitor asked us if we wanted to try their squeeze burger, but since we were lost in our food, we couldn't hear him, and he realized our eyes were closed, so he thought we were asleep, so he put us outside (but still let us eat our food). When we got back to the hotel, and Joseph was done telling us what had happened, it was 2:45 pm, so we went to get lunch at 33rd Street Bistro. I got ken's big daddy turkey burger for $9.95, Joseph and Colton got the grilled chicken club for $10.95 each, and Lawrence got the pan roasted herb half chicken for $17.95, which makes a total of $49.80. Colton got kind of mad at me because the name of my food ken's big daddy turkey burger, so he thought there was a person named Ken, who's dad was a turkey and they made him into a burger. But, he just said, "You disgust me," and then didn't talk to me, until the last five minutes when he . . . never mind, the point us we left the restaurant screaming (even Joseph) when we saw how mad Colton looked. So, anyway it was 3:30 pm when we were done, so we decided to go to the Science and Space Center. The admission was $5.00 per person, which makes a total of $20.00. There, Colton decided to do the space quest exhibit. Of course, Joseph, Lawrence, and I waited for him to finish, because he was the only adult there, everybody else there was a kid. Colton got to dress up like a spaceman, sit on moon rocks, and play games there. When he came out he was laughing with joy, but I slapped him, and he said, "Thanks I needed that." Then, he also went in the "got trees?" exhibit. But, of course it was for kids, but I decided to go with him anyway, and it was so much fun! We got to learn how trees grow, and visited a real log cabin. Then, we went to the bone zone exhibit, and convinced Lawrence to come. We saw bones of different animals, got to touch them, and we did interactive learning activities! Then, we went to the last thing we were going to do in there, the gee whiz geology exhibit, and we convince Joseph to come (well not convinced, but we used force)! We got to experiment in the geology stations, and we had so much fun, even Joseph had fun (not really)! So, then we were done, and it was 6:45 pm, so we decided to go to the Alamar Marina Restaurant and Bar. I got the chicken frangelico for $18.95, Joseph got the alamar chicken for $21.75, Colton got the teriyaki chicken breast for $17.95, and Lawrence got the fish & chips for $16.95, which makes a total of $75.60. But, Colton kept wondering why the fish and chips didn't have potato chips with him, and he even said, "I guess it will always be a mystery." He also kept wondering where the word teriyaki came from. When we were done, it was 8:30 pm, so we decided to go back to the hotel, watch some television, and go to bed. The next morning, Lawrence was the first to wake up, he woke up at 6:30 am, and he decided hide under the bed, until we wake up. I was the second to wake up, and I woke up at 7:00 am, and I woke up Colton, so we could go looking for Lawrence and when we got on the floor, he tripped us and hit us with pillows, so we had a pillow fight! Then, Joseph woke up, and we stopped pillow fighting and decided to start our last day in Sacramento. We've spent a total of $1767.61 on this trip so far.
Now, we're going to go to the airport at 8:30 am, because the plane leaves at 9:05 am, so we're just going to go to breakfast, and then leave. So, we went to breakfast at Mel's Diner, which we got to at 7:25 am. I got chocolate lovers pancakes for $6.29, Joseph got turkey florentine benedict for $7.99, Colton got the eggs burrito for $7.99, and Lawrence got the Mel's platter for $5.59, which makes a total of $27.86. Colton kept going to bathroom to throw up because when he heard Lawrence order the Mel's platter, he thought that Lawrence said Mel's blatter, so he didn't look when Lawrence was eating, but he kept thinking of it, so he kept going to the bathroom. When we were done, it was 8:00 am, so we went to the airport and returned our car, so by then it was 8:30 am, and we were ready to go to Honolulu! This trip's total cost was $1,796.47.

Lake Tahoe, Nevada

Hey, what's up? This is Lawrence and I'm back in action. Our Plane trip cost $150 per person. First of all we got into some trouble when we got to RNO airport at 3:21 p.m. on August 27, Ali forgot his baggage in the lobby and we had all our money in it! There's some good news and some bad news. The good news was that the bag was safe and still had all the money in it. The bad news was that the airport police had confiscated it and were going to dump it in the trash im the next two minutes if nobody claimed it! Luckily we were able to claim and show proof that it was ours. After that incident Joseph took most of the money out of Ali's bag and put it in his just for safe keeping. Soon after an old lady came up to us and asked where baggage pickup place was. She started heading in the direction we pointed but not before she spotted Ali hiding behind Colton. She thought Ali was her son so she grabbed his ear and dragged him off to have something to eat right before she left. We found Ali next to the bathroom saying that the old lady was crazy or something and that she had gone to get her baggage. We had just enough time to grab Ali get out the front doors of the airport before the old lady got back. We then went over to the car rental place and paid the guy at the counter $180.00 (because the car cost $60.00 per day) and he gave us the keys to the car we reserved online. Ali got into the drivers seat and off we went. We got to the Rodeway Inn Reno 15 minutes later. We got a room for $48 per night. Joseph got the room keycards and went to the room. Colton kept trying to open the door and after the tenth try he figured out that the keycard was upside down. Ali rushed into the room and jumped into the shower before any of us could even take a step. While Ali was in the shower Joseph, Colton, and I took his I pod touch out of his bag and played ishoot for a while then Joseph chased us all around the room pretending to be swinging a lightsaber at us with the star wars app on the I pod. When Ali got out of the shower Joseph started to complain about how he had been in there for such a long time because it was 4:30. Colton and I were making spinners when we heard Joseph say that it was four-thirty and started throwing them at Ali. Ali apologized and we were able to each take a shower by 5:00. I took my computer out of Joseph's bag and went to youtube. We watched ninja videos, ghost videos, and videos made by Ryan Higa. We stopped watching videos at about nine thirty and went to Steamers Beachside Bar and Oven. At Steamers Beachside Bar and Oven we chose to make our own pizzas which was to pick the toppings. We chose to make a large pizza which meant it was $14.00 for the cheese and $1.50 for each topping. We all decided that we would have italian sausage, black olives, and fresh mushrooms. The pizza took a while to bake so we just turned on Ali's ipod touch and blasted each other to bits. When the pizza was finally done we stuffed our faces till Colton threw up. We went back to the hotel after Colton threw up and fell asleep the moment we got in the room. Joseph woke up at 7:00 and threw cold water on our faces to get us to wake up. We all took a shower then headed down to the indoor jacuzzi/sauna. While we were going to the indoor Jacuzzi/sauna Colton started goofing off and got lost so we got there at 7:45 because it had taken 27 minutes to find him and another 18 to get there. The jacuzzi/sauna was awesome! We liked being there so much we stayed for 45 minutes before going back to the room and taking another shower. After we all took showers Ali decided that we would have to find a place to eat and fast, so we took out the computer again and started to look for a place to eat.

Phoenix, Arizona

Hey peeps I'm back to tour you guys on the exiting trip to Arizona. On our airplane trip to Arizona the airplaine took a stop in Houston TX. There we just sat for a 45 minutes until Colton had to have fresh air so he stepped off the plane for a quick breather even though it was against the rules. We did not tell him.He was distracted by cute little birdies in the sky so when the people got onto the plane Colton got hauled off to the plane jail...AGAIN!! So when we got to the PHX airport Colton was released. The flight there costs $59.00 per person so the total was of course $236.00. After that we went strait to a car renting place called enterprise where we rented a minivan that cost $69.00 per day, which makes a total of $276.00. Then we had a fight to see who would drive the hot rod since we are staying there for four days so only a odd number of people would drive those days. Ali drove like a madman and almost got us a ticket for speeding. Finlay after a terrorizing drive to our hotel we actually got to relax. After we checked in at the Hyatt regency phoenix hotel for 4 nights it was $398.00 for the first 2 nights and the other two nights for $358.00 it came out to be the price of $756.00. We decided to have a mass pillow fight. This is how the pillow fight worked you see Ali tried to hit Colton upside the head but Colton fell over to get his blanket so Ali tripped over him and hit Lawrence so he did a body-slam on Ali and that was a total KO. since Joseph had just been hanging around waiting to strike. He did the stare and told us to watch the Television for one hour so when we were finished watching at 8:30 so we decided to go eat at a place called Julio's Mexican restaurant. There Joseph got the nacho supreme for $11.50 and Lawrence got the cheese burger for $8.50, Ali got the albondigas soup for $6.00 and finally Colton got the pescado Veracruz for $14.00. That came out to be a total of Things went horrible right when Lawrence tried to eat the cheese burger. Colton took the cheese burger away and thew it in the trash. Lawrence got really mad and gave Colton a handshake so Colton screamed like a girl and we almost got kicked out of that restaurant. A handshake in lawrences style is torture because he squeezes so hard, it hurts. So since it was the first time in Arizona we decided we should treat ourselves with desert, Lawrence got the original fried ice cream for $5.50, Joseph got the double chocolate fudge explosion for $6.00, and Colton got the sopapillas for $4.00, and Ali got the chocolate mini chimi for $6.00 it came out to be $61.50. When the Waiter gave us our desserts, Colton threw a fit because his sopapillas were not beautiful flowers and they the food into his face so we had to leave. Then it was 10:30 so we had to Leave and hit the hay, but right when we got there we decided to have a cup of coffee from the food bar and that totally hyped us up and we had to stay up because we could not go to sleep. We had one thing to do GO SWIMMING!!!!! We put on the swimming trunks provided by Lawrence and zipped int the pool. We decided to climb onto each others backs and try to balance. That was a big mistake because when Lawrence started to stand on people because they would start to drowned so we quit because he weighed to much. When we went back to the hotel room to watch Dora the explorer but we decided to play the quiet game, well that was fun until Ali farted and we got KO and that was about 12:30. About 3:00 Colton woke up because he could not find his blanky so he checked the bathroom and it was in there then Colton got a idea he got the hotel's soap and spread it on lawrences face then went back to sleep. The next morning we got up to go get breakfast like normal but first we had to decide where. We all wanted different things but Joseph showed us the stare and we had to go to his restaurant called Matt's BIG breakfast. Just in case you were wondering the soap dried onto Lawrences mouth and he had a pink moustache but we did not tell him. So when the waiter came he started laughing and that's when he finally figured out that he had a pink moustache. Well for some reason he decided to blame Colton, who actually did it.This is what he did. Lawrence got the cheese omelet for $6.50 Joseph got the griddlecakes for $6.00 Ali got the tossed cob for $7.50, and Colton got frosted flakes for $4.00 for and at this place the water was NOT free so we had to pay $1.00 each for $4.00 it came out to $28.00. Then we just ate are breakfast except for Lawrence who just nibbled on his and drank his water. So when the waiter came he asked for a take home box well the waiter brought him one along with the bill. After we paid then we left at 10:02 to do something else. Ali suggested we play golf, but Lawrence said we should go swimming so we went to go golfing. We went to a golfing place called octillo golf resort for $60.00 per person, that's a total of $240.00 just to golf. Plus it wasn't even in Phoenix so we drove down to Chandler, Arizona and got there at 10:35 but our game got started at 11:24. When we started playing our nine-hole tournament other people got to join in and well, as they say the more the merrier. So when Colton got up there to swing his golf club he missed and got and hit himself in the face with a golf club. Then the pros stepped up they all got hole in ones with there awesomeness. Then Joseph just stared at the ball with his stare and told it to get a hole in one of course the ball did not do that so Joseph kicked it and it fell in the lake. Then Ali got up to the ball and hit it and it fell into the lake so he tried to go get it and slipped on the muddy banks and almost drowned until the amazing form of Colton rescues him and when Ali asked why he saved me he said he had "brotherly love." So Ali got totally freaked out and ran to the resorts bathroom to hide. So it was time to see who one the tournament out of us four well Lawrence came in first, Ali came in second, Colton came in third, and Joseph got dead last out of everybody who played. Just in case you were wondering we have spent a total of $1,591.52 out of $3,500.00 for our trip. Well it was getting late at 12:46 PM so we were going to go to a chinese restaurant called the Autumn court where we got to go to a court in Autumn. There Lawrence got the egg foo young with shrimp for $8.95, Colton got the chowmein chicken with rice for $6.95 Joseph got the kung pow shrimp and chicken for $8.95, and Ali got the pork lomein for $6.95 for a total of $31.80. We pretty much did nothing there except eat. So we wanted something to. We decided to go to the hotel again to watch the TV And play the game of ultimate global domination RISK but reenact the battle scenes. It was 1:32 at this point. well Ali surrendered his troops to Joseph right away because of his stare. Then Colton destroyed Lawrences troops with his deadly fart and now it was the ultimate face down the smart one and the dumb one in a climatic clash of forces to capture the entire world. So can you guess who one? Well that a no-brainer Colton won..... no he lost totally. So We had to do something so we got on the Internet to find out what to do since we got board we hoped to find an amusement park to go to and we did. We found a medieval place called castles and coasters where you ride a lot of cool rides until you upchuck your food. First we had to pay admission but there was none but we had to pay for each ride separately. We did get a good value but it was $20.00 per person and it came out to be $80.00 to ride 4 rides and play mini golf 18 holes where we battle through stages with scary medieval stuff then rescue a princess from a dragon by getting the ball in the dragons mouth; it was fun. Colton went exploring in the many fabulous settings but he got lost in the town square by wandering around the houses so we had to go find him. He was hiding in the dragons mouth and since the mouth opens at intervals. so next we went to the sky diver-our scream machine where you are taken up to a chilling 120 feet and dropped without warning. We regretted ever going on that ride because Colton screamed like a girl and nearly got our eardrums busted out. next we went to a real thrill-ride called the carousel where soothing music lulls you to a peaceful slumber while you beautiful animal rides up and down in a magical swaying motion it was very relaxing. So Colton was asleep so we could do two more awesome rides first came the desert storm where you would ride a thrilling roller coaster where power carries you upward and drops you into a series of loops, vortexes, and twists and the climax, the death defying drop of doom. Then when they came off of the ride Colton was crying on the side walk because he did not know where we were. So we had to do something together. We rode the splashdown where at first it is a soothing water ride until you take an unexpected detour and travel through a Polynesian village then stampede a herd of calm elephants after that crash down roaring waterfalls for the adventure of a lifetime. well castles and coasters was over but we still have funn stuff to do here. Well when we looked at the watch we saw that it was 3:07 and almost four so we could do something else before we ate dinner. So we decided to go see a movie at AMC Arizona center 24 when we got there we had to get our tickets for the 3:20 showtime of earth but the line was huge we got the last four tickets of earth and by then it was 3:19 so we were like, forget the food and go to the movie. The tickets cost $9.75 per person so we spent at total of $39.00. Colton thought the movie was magical. It was about Earth and the animals on it and the exotic places to go. Ali thought it was a waste of money. The movie was ninety minuets long so now it was 4:50, and we needed refreshments so we drove around looking for a restaurant to eat at Finaly at 5:13 we found a good place called Mi amigos Mexican grill where we have good food Lawrence orderd the Shrimp fajita for $16.25 Colton got the grilled chicken taco for $10.75, Joseph chose the enchilada with the Chile con carne for $10.95, and Ali got the soup and dinner salad for $7.50 and it came out to be $45.45. But everything went wrong when Ali tried to talk in Spanish he tried to say " I want a dinner soup and salad", But for some reason it came out like"You are so fat" I don't know why, but I think he was talking to Lawrence. So we got kicked out of that one and by then it was 6:06 So we headed back to the hyatt hotel To hit the hay. Oh and if you were wondering what happened to the eggs Lawrence saved to get a payback on Colton Well this is what he did that night. He "borrowed" Ali's ipod touch and set the alarm for 3:00 in the morning and slept with the earphones in his ear So only he heard the alarm go off. He got the eggs from his backpack [by the way Colton is allergic to eggs] So he put them into Colton's mouth and went back to sleep. In the morning we were awoken by a screaming Ali who had tried to wake Colton up but he was covers with itchy spots called hives but Colton had already woken up so Ali thought he was a deformed zombie. Colton was just miserable and itchy. Lawrence felt sorry for Colton so he apologised but Colton got angry and hit Lawrence in the face. It all stoped when a room cleaner walked in and separated them. We did not want to be in the room while the person was cleaning so we had to go to breakfast. We got into the car at 9:21 and set off in search of a restaurant. We found a little restaurants called copper star coffee, There we got coffee Well first Colton got the veggie sandwich for $4.50, Joseph got the espresso coffee for $1.75 and the breakfast bagel for $3.75 for his total of $5.50, Ali got the cappaccino for $3.25 and the deviled egg salad sandwich for $5.00 for another total of $8.25, and Lawrence got the Cesar salad for $4.50 and the latte for $3.25 that makes his total $7.75 and the grand total was $25.95 and by the time we left it would be 10:00. We searched the Internet for a place to go and found a really cool one called westworld xtreme pursuit paintball We drove from the restaurant to the paintball place and got there at 10:25 When we got there the first thing we did was pay for our stuff ( for entertainment because re rented it) it was $5.00 per person so that was a total of $20.00, but we also had to pay for admission, which was $20.00 per person, so the total with admission and the equipment rental was $100.00. When we went into the arena we were ready for combat except for Colton. There was a big buzzer and it had started so we decided to be on a team. We walked around to find someone to shoot. Joseph said he needed to use the restroom and walked away then he jumped out and scared Colton and shot him. Then someone else jumped out and started to shoot us and we shot back but we all fell except for Lawrence who was to fat for the bullets to do any damage so he won the game when we were out of ammo and we were black and blue we decided to take a rest. We went back to the hotel to take a nap at 12:12 and woke up at 1:13. We were starving so we had to go to eat lunch we drove around for five minuets and Finlay we found this place called oregano's pizza bistro where we got pizza Colton got the kick butt garlic bread for $4.89, Ali got the bistro calamari for $6.89, Lawrence got the Lawrence's stuffed shrooms for $7.99, and Joseph got the Alfredo the dark for $8.99. The total on the bill came out to be $28.76. Well Ali was being silly with his squid and let them swim around in his bowl and sang about farting rainbows and lovable cuddly monsters that ate your face off. That was very weird. At 2:00 we went to the enchanted island where we will be enchanted. We got there at 2:09 and went to get our tickets for rides and food we all got the all day pass for $8.00 per person and that came out to be $32.00 so that we could go all day. There first we did the Red baron where you get to be an ace pilot and fly around. It cost two tickets. After that we went to go see the phoenix skyline on the parachute tower. Then we went to go to the games of skill where we shot hoops for $2.00 each we did that four times so that will be $32.00. then we went to the food court for a snack. We got the ice cream and hot dogs it all went fine until Colton smashed his waffle cone against Lawrence's face then he got angry and threw his hot dog then it turned into a hot dog/ice cream fight. after that weird incident. At last we got board and we went back to the rides. Then Colton spotted something truly magical, the C.P. Huntington train. Of course we ran to it a fast as possible and Ali got there first, Colton got there second then Joseph was third, and Lawrence turned out to be dead last. So first we had to pay the conductor two tickets and then we were on our way. We road around the whole Park and got to see enchanted plants on the ride. We road that thing like crazy until we had only one more tickets. well nothing cost one ticket so sadly we had to leave. By the time we left the place it was 4:30 so we had one more thing to do so we decided to go to the phoenix art museum and look at art. We drove for five minuets and got there at 4:35. When we walked up to pay they said that it was $10.00. Then Colton piped up and said "Will you take an IOU?". Then Joseph apologized and said that Colton was in the special needs group. So because it was $10.00 we paid a total of $40.00 for the Phoenix art museum. We went in and got strait to the statues. We saw cool pictures of people getting there heads chopped of and children playing in the snow. After that we went to go see medievalisam fashion romance of the middle ages. which was also in the art musem. We got to see knights armor and big headdresses and mail armor. Then Colton spotted a scary looking sword with jagged edges so he got scared an ran away. Lawrence Joseph, and Ali were fascinated about the cool looking sword. Lawrence tried to take it out of its case but a security guard told him not to so he had to leave the place. Plus it was getting late it was 6:00 and we were starved. We went out to our car but a old lady stopped us and said that she was in desperate need of money. Colton stepped up and tried to give her our only hundred dollar bill but Ali quickly stepped up and said we could not give a random old helplass lady money so she turned around and whacked him in the face with her purse. We drove around until we found a place called avanti italian restaurant. Joseph got the penne al forno for $18.50, Lawrence got the mozzerella caprese for $11.00, Colton got the spaghetti for $18.50, and finally Ali got the veal speccialiti for $25.00. Our bill came out to be $73.00. This time Joseph tried to speak Italian and say "This food is good", instead it came out like "your face is ugly." so we had to leave. We needed our sleep so we went back to the hotel. The sleepiness did not last for long when we saw the swimming pool. We immediately jumped in to the warm pool and tried to drown each other but that got boring. Then we decided to have a dream contest and see who had the weirdest dream. The next morning we told each other about our dreams. Joseph had a true nightmare where he had got a 99.99 on his final exam, Lawrences was weird too he was being chased by an peanut-butter jelly fish singing the Dora the Explorer song, then Ali's was where he was told by the head Unicorn that they live in Alaska not Canada, pegisi live there. Finally Colton's was where a Evil butterfly farted on A cute princess and it stunk up her hairstyle so she tried to kill it but it was in leage with lord Imsougly and the power of cuteness could not harm it but Colton came along and chopped the monsters head off using the eternal power of friendship. And colton and the Princess lived hapilly ever after and a day. so obviously Colton had won the game but we had to eat a hjealthy meal before we set off to our little adventure. We decided to go to a place called Seamus McCaffrey's Irish reastaurant. We got there at 9:06 to eat breakfast. There we all orderd the chicken boxty for $8.33 so it came out to be $33.32. There Colton thought he had the luck of the Irish so he tried to see if a leprechon would play a trick on him and he would outwitt the leprechon. He did not outwitt the clever thing and he left with a bunch of bruises becauso of all the triping and falling that had happend it turned out that the leprechon was Ali, Joseph, and Lawrence. And our next destination, the Grand Canyon it was almost a four hour drive to the canyon and it got board after we ran out of movies to watch you see Lawrence had brought a portable DVD player and a Lord Of The Rings movie scince that was three hours long but that was the only thing we had so we fell asleep until a random person decided to honk his horn as loud as they could so we were back on the road. When we got to the national park at 1:25. When we got there we had to pay the fee of $12.00 per person so that came out to be $68.00. We went to go do the north canyon tour of the park for $149.00 per person so because there are four of us it was a total of $596.00. We got to see a thirty minuet tour of the north side on a flying helicopter. We got to see the deep parts of the canyon. Colton tried to get out of the copter while it was in midair because he is afraid of flying objects so he had to be reastained by the co-pilot. Ali thought it was very thrilling. Then we had one thing to do Go on a hike! We set off with water bottles and hiking sticks we walked for at least a few miles then we got board of hiking and looking at pretty scenery we decided to play Star Wars with our sticks. That was not a good idea because jumping around on the edge of a cliff is not the best thing. We started to walk back but Colton lost his grip and fell unfourtunantly he grabbed on to an overhanging branch and held on tight. So Lawrence, Ali, and Joseph had to pull a crying Colton up from the canyon. Of course Colton wanted to go home so well its anoying with a crying baby so we had no choice but to. Well it was 4:00 and we just realized we had not had lunch so we sped back to Phoenix with no stops and got there 6:00 and went for a food place called Cafe Eden. There Ali orderd the Eden pancakes for $14.00, Joseph got the star spangle for $14.50, Colton got the mega french for $15.00, and Lawrence got the meditteranian breakfast for $13.00 and that would be the total of $56.50. Then we had one more thing to do before our last day in phenix. Go to the dessert botanicle garden!! We had also had the reservation set up it was $15.00.We drove there and got there at 7:30 and went to pay addmittion for $15.00 per adult so it came out to be $60.00. First we went to the chuhily: nature of glass exhibit. There we saw plants that looked like plants until you looked close enough and saw that they were all made of glass. It was very cool until Colton shatterd a evil looking plant and we were not allowed to be there anymore. so then we went to the spring butterfly exhibit where we saw cute butterflies riding on the wind. The addmission for non members was $3.00 per person so that cost us $12.00. But if we were a member we would get to get in for free! So we got to see butterflies up close; taking in nectar and landing on people. Well while we were at that place Colton tried to pluck a plant for the butterflies but he got into trouble. so we had to leave. Next we went to the ottosen entry garden. where we saw different dessert plants and where they were found. There were four different gardens, the basin garden, red canal garden, terrace garden, and the sonoran desert plant exhibit. First came the basin garden where we saw cacti that would grow in the south part of the desert. Then we went to the canal garden where different types of cacti grow against red stone walls and a canal with little waterfalls flowes through the different plants. Last we went to the tarrace garden where you climb up a small mountan and the plant life changes as you get closer to the top. at the top all looked over thae park untill we were distracted by Ali's stupidity. He had gotten a cactus thorn in his hand he had tried to punch a cactus because it looked too ugly so he got mad at it. So we had to drive him back to the hotel where we pulled the cactus thorn out and made Ali were a barny bandaid. By that time it 9:30 at night and we still had not eaten dinner. So we got back into the car and went to a place called tee pee Mexican food. Where they had great bathrooms. There we all got the chicken fajita for $10.50 so we spent a total of $42.00 there. Right after that at 11:30 we started to ride back to the hotel but a crazy driver almost ran us over then Colton screamed and that startled Lawrence who was driving and caused him to hit the street curb so it was pretty much a nightmare drive back to the hyatt regency. Right when we got in the room we were so tired that we forgot to get into our pajamas and just fell asleep on the floor. We woke up to hear Colton screaming because his arm had fallen asleep because he was sleeping on it. He had no felling in his arm and he could not move it. We told him that we would have to chop it of because it was dead, but that made him scream more than ever. So we decided to have the hotels contonental breakfast and see if Coltons arm would heal up before the zoo. And of course it did. so right now it is 9:00 and we should be heading to the PHX zoo. We got there at approxomatly 9:11 and went to get our passes to enter. The passes were $16.00 per person so for that we spent $64.00 to get in the zoo. We walked around looking at different animals and got to get goats to lick our hands. Colton started to cry when he found out that there were no cows to ride on. We got to see slithering snakes and vicous crocidiles that scared Colton because he thought that they would try to take his head off. We finaly got boared at 10:54 but then saw a sign that said bear bonanza. We found out that it started at 11:00 everyday so that was good because it was getting around that time. At the bear bonanza we got to explor the forest 0f Uco and see the andean bears. We also got to see a colectoin of skulls, claws and other items like teeth. We also got to find out how to help the bears and the threats that they faced. After that we were getting hungry so we left the zoo at 12:23 to go eat at a place called Durants. This was the last restaurant we would eat in before we had to leave Phoenix for good. So Ali orderd the durants cobb sallad for $15.50, Joseph got the grilled shrimp for $23.95, Lawrence ate the ceaser sallad for $9.25, and Colton bought the chinese chicken sallad for $14.50. So we paid a total of $63.20. Well the restaurant was good but we are going to miss it. Next we went back to the hotel to check out then dropped the car back off at the car dealer and hopped on our plane. BY!!!!!!! Enjoy our next great adventure as we journy to lake tahoe, nevada. See you later!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! By the way the total of this trip is $3,119.48.

San Antonio, Texas

Hey guys , I'm back, Joseph here to tell you about our trip to San Antonio. We start as we arrive in San Antonio, Texas(SAT) coming from John F. Kennedy Airport and our flight cost $181 per person which costs a total of $724. The plane trip was boring and yes, Colton freaked out and went to plane jail. Once we arrived to San Antonio at August 21 we got our bags and went to our rented car which was an SUV Kia Sportage and it cost $44 per day and we for four days so it cost a total of $132. Once we arrived though, it was already about 10 p.m so we drove off to find a hotel to stay. After a couple of days......I mean hours.....okay minutes, we found the Hotel Contessa and their rooms were $150 per night and we slept up to four nights so our total cost is $600. So far we spent a total of $1,456. So once we arrived we unpacked and went to our room and went to bed but Ali and I stayed awake and lets just say Colton and Lawrence woke up with mustaches on their faces. They got really mad and wanted to know who did it so I blamed Ali and they beat him up. So once everyone was ready we went to Magnolia Pancake Haus. There,we all got lemonade for $1.25 each, I got Whole Loin Canadian Bacon for $3.75, Ali got Magnolia Recipe Sausage Patty for $3.00, Lawrence got Hickory Cured Ham for $3.00, and Colton got an English Muffin for $1.35, spending a total of $16.10. After the nice breakfast we went to Sea World to spend our first day in San Antonio, the tickets cost $46 per person so our total cost would be $184. So once we arrived we went to the ride "Journey to Atlantis" where we go on a relaxing ride through water ways and turns then we go down a long slide at high speed and make a big splash!!! It was fun for all of us, after that we went to The Great White where we went down 8 stories at almost 40 miles per hour and have your legs dangling. The ride was cool and we had fun except for Colton because he didn't want his feet to get wet but they did. After that we went to the Steel Eel! There we went on a long track and went really fast going up and down and up and down and up and down and we felt weightless because of the up and down up and down motion of the ride, all of us felt weightless except for Lawrence because he ate the most at breakfast because he took some of Colton's food so he felt like throwing up but luckily Ali was sitting next to him so there was no problem for me. Soon after the Steel Eel we went to the Shamu Express which was a slow little ride and we only went because Colton forced us too but it was fun any way. After the short ride we went to Rio Loco where we rode on a circular raft and rode through a really wet ride where we passed a lot of awesome waterfalls and cool drops, we all got really wet and Colton hated it because he got wet. After that we went to the Texas Splashdown where we went down 2 drops and went half a mile on a boat while we saw the city of San Antonio and all of Sea World!!! After that ride it was already about 1:30 so we went to eat at "The Oasis" where we all got cheese pizza for $5.00 each and we all got bottled water for $2.00 each, so we spent a total of $28.00. After the wonderful lunch we went to watch the show, Viva! There we saw acrobats interacting with beluga whales and dolphins, they all jumped really high and acrobats hung on to things like string and there were also waterfalls and fountains. A lot of the animals did cool tricks too!!! After that we went to animal exhibits! First, we went to the Dolphin Cove where we saw all different kinds of dolphins and saw them jump and stuff. We also got a bag of dolphin food to feed them with for $5.00, we all fed them except for Ali because all the dolphins never came to him and if they did they only wanted to bite him which they almost did. After that we went to the Penguin Encounter where we saw over 100 penguins, all of us enjoyed it except for Colton because he thought it was too cold and he got frustrated because he didn't know where the snow came from. After that we headed to the Clydesdale Hamlet and on our way there we saw a trainer holding a big anke and other people could hold it too! Me,Ali,and Lawrence held it and it felt slimy and scaly. Colton did not want to touch it because......well, I don't really know I asked him but he wouldn't tell me, so what Colton did was that he took a picture of us. Soon we left and got to the Clydesadle Hamlet where we saw big horses and a dalmation too. The horses were really big but it really stinked there. But the stink was a little good because I got to push Colton in a pile of horses. After Colton ceaned up, we went to Sharks/ The Coral Reef, there we saw sharks. There were a lot of sharks and shark kept on staring at Lawrence and he looked hungry and Colton laughed so hard that his nose started to bleed so Ali took out his handy dandy tissue and gave it to Colton. After the sharks it was about 2:40 so we went to the Sea and Sea Lion Community. There, we saw a lot of seals and sea lions, we saw trainers feed fish and one time the trainers hand slipped and the fish flew and landed on Colton's head so the Sea Lion came up to him, slapped him and got his fish back. Also, in nearby pools we saw endangered Hawaiian seals and one slapped Ali for taking a picture of him. After that Ali and Colton were both hurting so we took a short walk to the show stadium of the Cannery Row Caper. There we watched a show about two seals who are trying to solve the case of the disappearing fish. The show was filled with many effects and other animals too. Once the show was done and the case was solved Colton called the seals dumb and I think the seals heard him because the seal hit him with water and Colton ran away in terror. After that we went to Shamu's Happy Harbor but before we got there we passed by Flamingo Cove and Alligator Alley. In Flamingo Cove we saw awesome pink Flamingos, Colton and Ali liked the Flamingos because they were pink and Lawrence and I hated them because they were pink so we got in a fight but it quickly stopped when I gave Ali and Colton the evil stare thet scared them. In Alligator Alley we saw alligators when trainers picked up little alligators and we got to pet them. After that we finally arrived in Shamu's Happy Harbor where we got to play! There we went down slaides and got wet and we also went in a large sandbox where we made sand castles and Colton's fell apart because he "didn't build it right" but actually I kicked it. There were also water cannons where we sprayed each other with water and pretended to be pirates. After that we went to the show, Pirates 4D where we saw pirates on an adventure to find treasure and since it was 4D we also felt water and bubbles but Colton got scared because he thought it was just a regular movie. After that we went to the Aviary Habitats and Boardwalk Games. In the Aviary Habitats we saw a lot of birds and many pecked Colton's head and pooped on Ali's while others landed on Lawrence's and my head. In the Boardwalk Games we played in booths, Ali won a huge shark stuffed toy,Lawrence won a big polar beay stuffed toy, I won a big Shamu stuffed toy, and Colton won NOTHING!!! It was a bout 6:00 already so we went to our last activity in Sea World, the best thing in Seaworld, the show Believe! There we saw Shamu do tricks with it's trainers with dramatic music and big splashes and booms! Colton said it was very touching. After that we left Seaworld and it was 7:00 so we headed to the Taco Maker where we all had(except for Colton because it has meat and he think it is cow) Crisp Nachos for $8.00 each. Colton got nacho grand deluxe for $10.00 and we all got medium coke for $3.00 each so in all, we spent a total of $46.00. An hour and a half passed since we left Seaworld so it was already 8:30 so we went to the Tower of the Americas where the admission fee was $10.95 each and that included everything except for the restaurants and gift shops, so it was a total of $43.80. We went up the 750 feet high tower which was 67 feet taller than the Washington Monument so with that the monument should be 687 feet tall because 750-67=687. Up in the tower there were a lot of things from observation decks to a 4D thrill ride. First, we went to the observation deck and it was pretty dark so we saw the lights of San Antonio and it looked really cool. After that we went to a meeting space and sat down to rest from the nice day, while sitting we played on Ali's ipod touch and played games, we also went up and down the elevator 6 times cause it was fun long. After resting and playing we went back up to the tower and went to ride the 4D thrill ride where we felt cool things like bubbles, water, and air. After that it was already late so we decided to go back home.......after we went up and down the elevator a few more times, so once we did we went back to our hotel to fully rest. But sometime late at night we heard weird noises in the closet and Ali was gone so Colton, Lawrence, and I looked in the closet and saw Ali crying so we asked him what was wrong and he said it was his birthday yesterday and we forgot and Colton even looked in his calendar he brought from home and noticed it was. So I smacked him and told him to be a man but he still kept crying so Colton, Lawrence, and I went to buy him presents, once we got back we bought him a Vanilla Cake with pink icing for $20.00. Our presents to him were a spoon to eat the cake from me(sorry Ali, we couldn't find any forks), a plate from Lawrence, and tissue for when he was done from Colton, but that wasn't all, we also gave him a barbie doll play set for $30.00. So in all we spent $50.00. Once he saw the presents and cake Ali was so happy that he cried again so I hit him again and told him to be a man but that knocked him out and he fell on his cake......so we left him there and went back to sleep.
The next day we went to the restaurant Candlelight Coffeehouse where we all got Green eggs and Ham which cost $9.00 each but although the breakfast was good there were no green eggs, there were just ordinary eggs so we were disappointed and Colton even wanted to sue them. So after that it was about 11:00 so we went to one of San Antonio's best attractions, the Alamo! The good thing was that the admission for the Alamo is free. At the Alamo we went to the Old Church Museum where we saw many artifacts about the Siege on the Alamo. For example, we saw Travis ring, Crockets Bucksin Vest which Colton wanted so he would be warm and cozy! We also saw a flintlock rifle which Lawrence wanted so he could...............(too violent), we also saw a Bowie knife where me and Ali wanted to touch the little pointy part on top, besides all that we saw much more artifacts from the Siege of theAlamo. After the Old Curch we went to the Modern Shrine where we didn't see much but we did see the flags of where the Alamo defenders came from. After the Shrine we went to the Alamo Garden where we saw lots of pretty flowers and plants and Colton thought they were really pretty. After the Garden we went to the Wall of History where many historic things were put on walls and we had to stay for a long time because Lawrence had to read EVERY, SINGLE, WORD. After that we went to the Long Barrack Museum where we watched a 17 minute film telling about the Alamo where Coltongot scared. We also saw exhibits on how the Alamo got better and bigger. After that it was about 1:00 so we went to the Alamo Gift Museum where we saw more bowie knives, rifles, and also Mexican artifacts. Afetr that we went to the Cavalry Courtyard where we saw a lot of cannons where Colton got in front of one and I looked for a match to fire the cannon and blow Colton up(but I didn't find any). We then went to the big Live Oak Tree where we saw a big tree! After staring at the big tree it was about 3:00 and we saw everything in the Alamo so we went to the Paloma Blanca Resaturant for lunch. There I got Tradicional de Carne for $8.95, Colton got De Vegetales for $7.95 ,Ali got Flautas de Pollo for $7.95, Lawrence got Puntas de Puerco for $8.25 , and we all had coke for $3.00 spending a toal of $45.10. After lunch it was about 4:30 so we went to the San Antonio Riverwalk which was close to our hotel. There we saw water,grass,ground....? Well what we did was first watch the soothing water and then we went on a boat ride for $7.75 per person which is a total of $31.00. The boat ride was cool and Colton fell in the water because he wasn't paying attantion to what was happening and we didn't want to save him so we played rock, paper, scissors to decide. At the end it was Ali who had to save Colton and he almost drowned himself but didn't. Colton was alright after the boat ride and it was about 6:00 so we went to Fort Sam Houston where we saw a lot of things like tanks and planes. We also went to the Quadranle in the fort where there were deer, peacocks, and rabbits were running free. Colton tried to ride a deer but fell off and as kicked in the face by the deer he rode on. After the fort it was about 8:00 so we went to the Fig Tree Restaurant where I got Short Ribs for $29,Lawrence got Shrimp Scampi for $29, Ali got Trout for $25, and Colton got Salmon for $29, and we all got Coke for $3.00 for a total of $124. After eating we were all tired and sleepy and Colton had to use the bathroom so we went back to our hotel to rest and go to sleep........but before that we played Monoply where Colton got broke.
The next day I woke up and found everyone asleep so I got on the computer and went online for awhile until I got boored and sat on Ali. Soon everyone woke up and got ready so we headed to the Benny's Bagel Cafe where Ali and I got Cookies for $1.25 each and Lawrence and Colton got Cinnamon Rolls for $2.10 each and we all got Coffee for $2.00 each so we spent a total of $14.70. After eating we went to the Ripley's Haunted Adventure where the admission fee was $48.98 per person so that would make a total of about $195.88 but since we got the U-pick combo we saved about $40.00 which made our total $155.88. In the museum we saw a lot of weird and scary things like a scary man cutting a pig where Lawrence wanted to get the pig, vampires, skeletons, and a lot more. We had fun but Colton got really scared when he saw the deformed cow. After the museum it was about 2:00 so we headed to The Bill Miller BBQ Restaurant where we all got a Small Iced Tea for $0.89 and we got a Small Family Sized Order which feeds up to 4 people and cost $14.99 so there we spent a total of $18.55. After the nice lunch it was about 3:30 so we went to the Alamo Golf Club and got in for $25 each so it would be a total of $100. We played a lot but we really just hit each other with our golf clubs and fire our golf balls at each other while we also raced with the cart things that we could ride in, we had a lot of fun!!! After the golf it was 5:00 and our flight left at 7:00 so we got early dinner and went to Tiago's Cabo Grille where I got Red Serrano Roasted Chicken for $13.08, Ali got Wod Grilled Angus Burger for $8.09, Lawrence got Solano Spiced Sirloin for $14.09, Colton got Wood Grilled Ribeye for $19.09, and we all got Sprite for $3.00 each spending a total of $63.35. After eating it was about 6:00 so we took a quick round around the city and headed to the airport. Now read about our time in Phoenix, Arizona! The total cost for this trip was $2,417.48.

Rapid City, South Dakota

Hey peeps its me Colton the guy who is loves cows and scared of a lot of things. So I will be your narrator for this blogger destination in Rapid City, South Dakota. We arrived at the RAP airport in Rapid City at approximately 7:00, and the price for the airplane was $600.00. We went straight to our hotel, the quality inn that cost $229.99 per night, so since we were staying there for two nights and three days, you have to multiply $229.99 by two, which would make a total of $459.98. After that we went swimming in the hotel's swimming pool. When we got there we put on our swimming trunks provided by Lawrence and hippidy hopped into the pools except Colton who saw this cartoon where sharks were in swimming pools so he was scared he would get eaten. We would try to tell him that that stuff was all fake, but he insisted that it was real. After we swam we dried of and went to a car place called enterprise to rent one. We got a Nissan Altima for $121.78 per day for a total of $365.34. Then we went to a restaurant called the corn exchange at 8:30, it was refreshing. Joseph got the chef's favorite for $12.00, Ali got the Vera cruse style for $23.00, Lawrence and Colton got the pan roasted quail for $19.00, for a total of $73.00. We left for our hotel at 9:00 and went to sleep at 10:00. The next morning we went to the watiki hotel at 10:00 where we rode all these cool rides in and indoor water park for a total of $67.80. First we rode this really awesome ride called the super bowl slide where you ride down a gigantic big slide on a two person inner tube and go down and start spinning in circles then splash into the water. We rode that a few more times then went to a food stand called koko's concessions and got hot dogs, chips, and drinks. To top that off super cold ice cream we got ice cream. When we finished we went back to doing the slides. We rode a really cool one where you slide down a tube to your death but splash in the water before you hit the rocks. After we did that we went down the lazy river while we were on the lazy river in our inner tubes, Colton tried to face his fears and get off his inner tubes like Ali, Joseph, and Lawrence had. Colton was immediately swooped away by the current well unfortunately was saved by the life guard who told us to stay on our inner tubes or we wont be able to come back to the lazy river ever again. Next we headed over to the monkey bucket, an attraction that will dump 300 gallons of ice cold water into your bare backs. The smart one Joseph thought that we shouldn't get under the big bucket because it will squish us due to the force of gravity applied on the water and that 300 gallons if ice cold water really hurts because when something gets colder in gets harder. Colton, Lawren too death. Then Lawrence and Ali "accidentally" pushed ce ,and Ali did it anyway. when the water dumped out of the bucket we closed our eyes and felt the freezing water bounce right of of our bare backs. when Joseph saw that we were O.K. he thought that we had super powers only possessed by ultra super heroes. Right after we did that a few more times we went to the hot tub/spa to get a relaxing time in the hot water to refresh our soothing skin. But the hot tub was too hot so we had competitions to see who could withstand the heat of the water the record set by lawrence was a total of 2.3 seconds. Then we had some more chips at koko's concessions. Next after that we dared each other how high we could do belly flops on the high dive. None of us would do it because of the height. So we went back to the lazy river and told the life guard that Colton got the last inner tube so that we could ride without one. While we were in the lazy river Joseph, Lawrence, and Ali decided to play a trick on Colton. So they took out the straws they had saved from the snack bar and went underwater. Colton eventually realized ho could not see his friends so he started to cry. Then Joseph jumped out of the water and scared Colton who again almost drowned but yet again the lifeguard saved Colton who was crying. So the lifeguard bought Colton a pink stuffed dolphin that he could love forever and name Bob. We had to leave because they were going to clean the pools because someone well...... you don't want to know. When we left the watiki hotel it was 6:30 pm so we decided to have a dinner at a place called Minerva's restaurant it was a satisfying meal Ali got the crab cakes for $10.95, Colton got the jumbo cheese toasted ravioli for $15.95, Joseph got the Puget sound crepe for $17.40, and Lawrence got the seafood risotto for $23.95. The price came out to be a total of $63.25. We went back to our hotel at 7:00 and played Ali's ishoot until 10:00 and watched T.V. until 12:00. Then went to sleep and Colton dreamed about super cow. The next morning we went downstairs to eat a breakfast of donuts. then we went back to watiki water park but it was closed so we decided to head to Mount Rushmore to say whats up to the presidents. It cost $10.00 to go there. When we went in we walked to the observation platform to stare at our past presidents. This boring tour guy told us a speech about the presidents of the us on the mountain then told us to go to a place where we learned about the mountain. When we went there we saw a movie that told us about the presidents.... we fell asleep. After that we got board but then saw a advertisement for a crazy horse memorial so we went over there but there was pretty much nothing we could do except stare at an unfinished rock sculpture. So we were board so we decided to check to see if watiki hotel had opened back up. Luckily it had opened so we ran back in to play. Lawrence said he had cucumbers in his backpack so we went to the watiki spa to relax, but the unthinkable happened. The spa was FIXED Ali and Joseph Hated it Colton and Lawrence loved it all, But it turned out to be a mistake, the food was rotten! Plus we were hungry so we needed food so we went to a restaurant called the Asian garden with furry cute pandas there Colton wanted one but the restaurant owner would not let him so we had to leave because Colton went totally phsyco, luckily we already ate, This is what we had. Lawrence got the moo shu chicken for $6.25 Joseph got the Happy family meal for $8.75 which was very happy, Colton got the lemon chicken for $7.95, Ali got the pu pu platter for $7.95 for a pandemonium total of $30.90 at the Asian garden. We went back to our hotel to swim but but it turned out to be closed since it was 12:00 nighttime. So we went to our room and had a big wrestling tournaments but it went wrong because Lawrence farted TOTAL KNOCKOUT. Lawrence all. We woke up to saw hello to our last day in Rapid City we are going to make this count. First we had our Continental breakfast of fruit loops and donuts then fruit salad at our hotel. Then headed off to the Rapid City's reptile garden where we saw the cool reptiles for $56.00 in total first we went to go see the most dangerous snakes exhibit where we got to see cobras and black and green mambas and some snakes could kill a full grown Cow so we had to leave because Colton was bawling on the floor. then we went to go see crocks at their exhibit while Colton went to go see the the harmless snakes in there awesome exhibit. We met up with Colton in the exhibit to tell him that we were going to go to the gift shop called Jungle outpost gift shop where we got totally radical stuff. Colton started out getting a stuffed gecko for $20.95 but he saw a lemon lime so he got that too for a total of $41.90, Lawrence got the bamboo reptile garden T-shirt for $25.00 Joseph got the very pointy New Guniea tribal dance spear for $45.00, and last but certainly least Ali got the snake head shot glass for $12.99 and the crocodile wood carving for 195.00 big bucks. The cashier totally fainted when she saw the grand total of $318.99! After that shopping incident we walked around until we came to a place called the sky dome. It looked cool so we walked in there we saw the rough scaled python that turned out to be the only ones in exhibit in the world besides Australia. We saw terrifying snake that could squeeze you to death. We told Colton that it could kill a cow and he got terrified so he went to go see the parrots and other cool birds like that. Lawrence, Joseph ,and Ali went up to the Mezzizine level where you saw the most exotic and feirce snakes They saw the most fatal snake in the world....The fierce snake. It is a weird name for a deadly snake. Who would name it that!? Next we went to go look at the tropical Flowers of that area.We also saw Mambas and some other cool things. Last before they got Colton they saw the largest turtle fossil ever excavated the skeleton of the Archelon turtle. They went to go get Colton who was trying to get a parrot to saw "Polly want a cracker" but to no avail. So we went back to our hotel to get our stuff get to the RAP airport. The flight will leave at 5:00 and we will get there five hours and fifteen minuets later. The grand total for this trip was $2,275.26. BY!!!!!!!!!!!

St Louis, Missouri

Hey what's up folks my name's Lawrence and I'm going to be your guide in our trip to St Louis, Missouri! We got to the terminal at 11:18 p.m on August 15 (I got tickets for $252.00 per ticket, which made a total of $1008.) and two minutes later Colton ran off like a mad bull looking for a restroom. Joseph found Colton in the security booth claiming that he had no idea that he had a swiss army knife in his back pocket. We looked at the security tape and turned out a kid had put the knife in Colton's pocket when he walked by. The security rushed off after the kid who slid the knife into Colton's pocket and we took that opportunity to rush off to the car we rented for $31.00 a day, which made a total of $93.00.We stayed in the Renaissance Saint Louis Airport Hotel! It cost $159 per night for the deluxe room which we got. There we had a television, a room, a bathroom, a shower, a toilet, and those usual thing in hotel room. We have spent a total of $1737 on this trip so far. Joseph and I woke up at three in the morning and played a prank on Colton and Ali by drawing on their faces with shaving cream. Colton and Ali finally woke up at six a.m looking like Santa Claus and Bigfoot. They had to wash all the shaving cream off their faces before getting into their regular clothes. We went downstairs to eat the free continental breakfast the hotel provided. We all ate some cereal, coffee, french toast then had a race to see who could go around the whole building and to our room the fastest. Colton took off before anyone even said go so Joseph, Ali, and I just went up to the room and watched television. When Colton finally got back at 8:00 we kept trying to push each other into the shower because we didn't want to take a shower. So we decided that the only way to settle it was to have a food fight. We got food that we had taken to our room and started flinging them at each other. Bananas, cereal, and french toast flew all over the room. In the end the order of us taking a shower was Ali, Colton, me, and Joseph. We all cleaned up the room than left at 10:20 a.m so we could go to Six Flags. Ali really wanted to drive because he had just gotten his drivers license so Joseph handed the steering wheel over to him and off we went. We got to Six Flags at 10:25 and were the first ones in line. When Six Flags opened at 10:30 we gave the tickets we bought on the internet for $68 each to the lady at the counter and zoomed off to ride Evel Knievel which has an 8-story drop at a 90° left turn angle and over 16 hills with camelbacks and multiple high-banked turns. We got off that ride and looked at the map and rushed off to ride the Superman Tower of Power where you free-fall from the top of the 230 foot tower then you plunge down at over 60 miles per hour[we rode both rides twice]. Then we went over to the food stores. Ali ate chicken strips, Colton got a Papa John's Perfect Pan Pizza, Joseph ordered an old fashioned hotdog, and I took a cheese burger for $12.99 [ we bought meal vouchers online] each for a total of $51.96. We have spent $2060.96 on this trip so far. After we ate we rode on the Screamin' Eagle, Excalibur, and Ninja. Colton threw up while we were on the Ninja so we had to cut the fun short so we could get Colton a change of clothes. When we got back to our hotel room Colton started digging through his clothes until he finally found the clothes he wanted to wear than took them into the bathroom to change. Once Colton changed we all played a few rounds of Risk Colton had brought in case we got bored. Ali won the first two games, I won the third, Joseph won the fourth, and Colton won the last game. By the time we had finished playing Risk it was eight at night so we decided to go to an italian restaurant at the intersection of old Hwy 30 & 141 called Viviano's Festa Italiano. We got there at 8:30 and had to wait a little while before being seated. We got the menu and Joseph took a pene roma for 8.99, Ali got the ravioli with red sauce for $8.99, Colton had a tortellini for $9.49, and I chose the grilled chicken fettuccine for $8.99. When we finished eating those we ordered desert. Ali had not your mama’s chocolate chip cookies for $1.00, Colton ordered a sweet coco panini for $3.99, Joseph took the brownies for 2.29, and I picked a tiramisu for $3.99. When we got the bill we were shocked that we had spent $47.73. We went straight back to the hotel after we payed and fell asleep as soon as our heads touched the pillows because we were stuffed and to drowsy to do anything else. Ali woke up at 7:00 and decided to go and get a cup of coffee. When Ali opened the door, SPLASH! A bucket of sticky orange soda Colton had put on the door earlier that morning fell on Ali and drenched him from head to toe. The sound of the bucket falling and drenching Ali in orange soda woke the rest of us up in a flash. Joseph grabbed the bucket, went to the bathroom, filled it with water, then came out and tossed it at Ali. After Ali had changed his clothes we went down to the lobby to get some coffee and french toast. We ate breakfast in our room while watching Xmen Origins: Wolverine. At 10:50 we left to go to the Lewis and Clark Sate Historical Site: Camp River Dubois near Hartford, Illinois. We got there at five to twelve and went over to the "Camp Life" section where there were quite a bit of interactive exhibits where we had to identify the purposes of tools used by expedition members and try to make our own lists of supplies we would need for a journey like theirs. A partly made shelter from Camp River Dubois showed how the men on the trip lived during a regular winter. We played a medical matching game where we gavse medicines to heal the acting sicknesses of the men. We also saw food from the trip's menu and learned its dietary implications. Then we went to the convergence theater which shows a 12-minute, high-definition video which uses high-impact visuals projected onto a 14 by 25 foot area of the theater wall. The video was about Ideas of what might have happened at Camp River Dubois during the time they were preparing for the trip. When we got out of the convergence theater we looked around and decided to go to "The Corps" exhibit. We got to test our skills against the men picked for the trip to see if we had the right stuff. We also got to pass judgment on members of the Corps who disobeyed the military code of conduct used in 1804, and see how our judgments stacked up with Lewis and Clark's. By the time we had finished at "The Corps" exhibit it was 5:30 when we heard Colton's stomach growl and looked at our watches. It was 5:30 and we had missed lunch! Since we missed lunch we took a vote of whether or not we would have lunch or dinner. It was unanimous that we just have dinner so we drove back to St Louis and went to Olive Garden. We had to wait for a long time but it was worth it. For appetizers we all had the smoked mozzarella fonduta which is oven-baked smoked mozzarella, provolone, parmesan and romano cheese served with tuscan bread for $7.35 each. Then for the main course Ali had the seafood alfredo for $11.50, Colton chose the chicken and gnochi veronese for $10.95, I took the grilled shrimp caprese for $12.50, and Joseph got the shrimp primavera for$10.95. Once we had stuffed our faces we started to order dessert. It all looked so delicious it was hard for us not to buy them all that is of course with the exception of Colton and his dislike for chocolate. At the end Joseph had the chocolate ciottoli cake for $6.50, I took the black tie mousse cake for $6.50, Colton got the lemon cream cake for $5.95, and Ali chose the chocolate gelato for $5.75. In all we spent a total of $100 dollars at Olive Garden. We have spent a total of $2,208.69 When we got back to the hotel it was 10:15. Ali took out his Electronic Monopoly game and we played for the next four hours before falling asleep at the table. Colton got up at 4:45 a.m. and cleaned up the table and Ali's Electronic Monopoly then got a jar and filled it with notes that talked about him and how he loved commanding the cute, cuddly, sweet, and muscular hun action figures he had. At 6:35 Colton woke us up then we went down to the lobby to get breakfast. At 9:45 we packed up, checked out of the hotel, and headed to the Gateway Arch in St Louis. We got to the Gateway Arch at 11:00 and went over to the place where they were giving helicopter tours an hour later and payed the fee of $35.00 per person. We had a big problem, the maximum amount of passengers was three and the minimum was two and there were four of us! We just decided on going two at a time, Joseph and Ali first and Colton and I second. The view was fantastic! We could see the slight waves in the dark blue Missouri River, people going up in the trams, people biking along the trails on rented bikes, and people commuting to the places that they wanted or needed to go to as the helicopter staff narrated the flight. We then went over to the north leg of the Gateway Arch, got our tickets for $7.00 dollars each, and rode the tram up to the top while listening to a recording. When we got off it was 12:15! We went over to the Arch View Cafe to pick up the box lunches we had reserved for $10.00 each. We all had turkey and cheese on a croissant with a brownie and coffee in our lunches. Once we had finished eating we went over to the Odyssey Theater got tickets for $4.00 each and watched a movie about Lewis and Clark on forty foot tall screen. When the movie was over it was 2:30! We left in a rush and barely made it to the airport in time! I guess this is where my trip with you ends. See you later folks!
P.S. Don't forget to read about Rapid City, South Dakota. This trip cost a total of $2,432.69.

New York City, New York

Hey guys, it's me, Ali, as your narrator again! After the taxi dropped us off at the Washington airport, it was night and we were tired, so we sung a lullaby for Colton until he fell asleep so he wouldn't annoy us. The flight from the Washington airport to the JFK international airport in New York City cost $59.00 per person which made a total of $236.00. When we got on the airplane it was 10:00 p.m and the ride is only 1 hour and 36 minutes long so that's pretty good. But since it was nighttime, Joseph, Lawrence, and I fell asleep in the first 30 minutes but since Colton was already asleep since the airport, he woke up 15 minutes after Joseph, Lawrence, and I fell asleep. He was so scared and didn't know what was going on so he thought he was dreaming so he pinched himself and screamed (while everyone else was asleep) and got sent to plane jail again! But before he went to plane jail I asked him why he kept going to plane jail and he said that he was scared of heights, but if he was why did he try to jump out on our flight from Dallas to Orlando? Anyway, on 11:25 p.m, we were starting to land, Colton threw up in plane jail because he got plane sick. At 11:33 p.m we finally landed but we had to wait 3 more minutes for them to tell us to get off. When it finally told us to get off,we got off and it took us 5 more minutes to get our stuff so we got off at 12:01 a.m When we finally got off, we went to a car rental shop which took us about an hour to get to because we had to walk and we took a lot of breaks. When we finally got to the car rental store at 1:01 a.m. we looked around for about 15 minutes until we found a good cheap car, it was called the Hyundai accent and it cost $152.00 per day, which made a total of $608.00. So when we got it, we drove to our hotel, the Westin New York New York deluxe guest room, which cost $229.67 per day, which makes a total of $918.68. When we got in and put our bags in we went to sleep. Colton woke up first at 7:30 a.m and slammed Lawrence on the head with a pillow but Lawrence just kept snoring. Then he hit me on the head and I screamed and got about 10 calls telling me to be quiet (I was mad). Then, Colton was about hit Joseph but he got scared and thought that Joseph would give him the "stare" so Colton hit himself with the pillow instead. At 8:45 a.m Joseph woke up and we all got ready for our first day in New York City! First we went to a restaurant called City Hall for breakfast. We all got buttermilk pancakes for $8.00 each, which made a total of $32.00. Colton, for some strange reason asked the manager if he sold anything with meat made from cows (by the way you should know that Colton really likes cows). The manager said yes, and Colton was about to hit the manager but Joseph, Lawrence, and I grabbed him, but the manager called security and we got kicked out. But the good news is that Lawrence snuck the food out with him, so everyone went back to the hotel and ate some but I told them, "Eat it without me, I'll catch up with you." So I went to a store and bought a Golana Swiss men's watch for $129.00, now I'll always know the time. Which reminds me, it was 10:37 a.m. Then, when I went back to the hotel, Colton told me that Lawrence ate my pancake and everyone laughed but then I saw it and since every ones eyes were closed because they were laughing too hard, I got it and put so much maple syrup that it covered the entire pancake and I found some whip cream in Lawrence's backpack, so I put it on the pancake too. Now, you think I'm going to eat it, right? WRONG! Just then, I said, "Hey, Colton," Colton said, "Ya," and looked at me and I slammed the pancake in his face. He was about to hit me, but then he started laughing and fell of the bed onto his head. So we rested and watched television until 12:30 p.m. On 12:30 p.m we decided to do some fun stuff at the Westin New York hotel. We looked around for 30 minutes and then found something we liked, the Wii! It was in the WestinWORKOUT Gym. We played , but there were only 2 games on it, wii fit and wii sports, we decided to play wii sports and we versed each other 7 times. Most of the time, Lawrence was trying to look for a way to cheat, but Joseph was watching him the whole time. When we finally finished our 35 minute game, here were the results, I won 2 matches, Colton won 3 matches, Joseph won 2 matches, and Lawrence didn't win any matches. After that, I checked my watch and it said that it was 1:35 p.m. Now, we were ready to eat brunch, it took us about 15 minutes to get to the restaurant. We ate at a place called Bubby's. I got chicken fried chicken for $15.95, Colton got the Macaroni and cheese for $10.95, Joseph got the barbecue half chicken for $13.95, and Lawrnece got the New York strip steak for $24.95, which made a total of $65.80 was staring at Lawrence the whole time getting madder from every bite that Lawrence took out of his steak because he knew a cow had to die just for that steak. Then, when Lawrence was one bite away from finishing his steak, Colton went psycho and took the steak from Lawrence's hand and put it in a napkin, then started attacking Lawrence, all the customers left except us. But, we were kicked out after Colton gave Lawrence an arm burn, and the worst part is, we're not even allowed to eat there anymore. So we went back to the hotel and I checked my watch, it said that it was 3:42 a.m and that didn't make sense because we got in the restaurant at 1:50 p.m, and then I remembered that Colton hit my watch when I was trying to break the fight, so I looked at a clock and winded the watch to the right time, 3:15 p.m. Then for lunch we went to a restaurant called Esca where Colton was determined to not get them kicked out again. It was alright until Lawrence tried to order a hamburger but luckily they did not serve that monstrosity. So Lawrence had to get the Spaghetti for $30.00 but it turned out to be huge so for thirty dollars it was worth it. Joseph and Colton got spaghetti Neri for $23.00 each, and I ordered the linguine for $24.00, our total came out to be a total of $100.00. Everyone ate peacefully and Colton didn't get us kicked out. I also thought that this time, when we ate it would be peaceful the whole time until the fire alarm for the restaurant started making a loud noise. Everyone was screaming except for Colton, who stared at the alarm and said, "Pretty light." That's when we all had to get out, but at least everyone ate enough so they could survive until dinner. When we were outside because we got out of the restaurant, I looked at my watch and it said that the time was 4:00 p.m. So, then we were pretty bored so we went back to the hotel and watched some television. Then, at about 5:00 p.m I got a pillow and snuck up behind Colton and hit him with the pillow and he fell off the bed! I was laughing so hard, but when I wasn't looking Colton tried to hit me with a pillow but missed and accidentally hit Lawrence. Lawrence got mad and tried to hit Colton but missed and hit me, and then we all were pillow fighting each other. Then at about 5:30 p.m Joseph gave us the stare, and we all looked at him and fell off the bed on each other's heads, and then everything went black (I don't know if we were knocked out or if we fainted). When we woke up I checked my watch and it was broken, but I looked outside and it was night, so we went to go get dinner. But, when we got down to the lobby, there was a wall clock and it said 9:00 p.m. We drove around for thirty minutes but didn't find any dinner restaurants we liked, but I did go back to that store where I bought my watch and bought a new one for $129.00, which reminds me, it was 9:30 p.m when we got back to the hotel. But then, when we went back to the hotel, I saw a sign for restaurants inside the Westin New York and we decided to go to one called Shula's steak house. But of course, Colton refused to go to a place, where he would watch cows get eaten (I mean, it was a steak house). So we told him to order something that's not steak and have it to go, and he agreed with it! So, when we got there it was 9:45 p.m. I ordered Certified Angus Steak Tartare for $15.95, Joseph and Colton ordered the Colossal Shrimp Cocktail for $14.95 each, and Lawrence ordered the 16 oz Herb Crusted Chicken Breast for $23.95, which made a total of $69.80. So, since it was to go, we took it back to our hotel room and ate it. Everyone enjoyed their food except for Colton because he thought his shrimp was oddly shaped (but Joseph didn't notice anything about it). So, Colton refused to eat it but I said, "Fine I'll have to resort to my most fierce method." So I took Colton's blanky and threatened to rip it. So, Colton ate the shrimp fast and ate twice as much as Joseph. Joseph didn't mind though. So, he went and took the blanky from my hand as soon as he was done eating. Then, we all went to sleep and had a peaceful night (except for Colton who woke up at 3:00 a.m to throw up because he ate too much shrimp). So, since Colton didn't go to sleep after 3:00 a.m, he was technically the first one to wake up. But, Colton was tired and didn't do anything until 7:30 a.m when he went under the bed and started kicking to annoy Joseph, Lawrence, and I (and it worked because we all woke up). But, Lawrence thought it was a phantom and ran into the bathroom to hide. But luckily, I stayed there because I knew whatever was under the bed was going to get scared by Joseph's stare. Then, the thing that was under the bed got up and screamed but it screamed because it was scared of Joseph's stare. Then, I found out that the thing that was under the bed was Colton. I got mad and was about to hit Colton but I remembered that he made Lawrence hide in the bathroom, so I said, "Thank you," and he said, "Okay?" So, every 4 or 5 minutes I would go in front of the restroom door and say something scary so Lawrence will stay in the bathroom. But at 9:00 a.m I told Lawrence to get out so we could start our second day in New York City!
First, we went to get breakfast at Kitchenette, which we arrived in at 9:15 a.m and realized was pretty much a girly restaurant. There, I got plain pancakes for $8.25, Joseph got the homemade brioche french toast for $9.50, Colton got the heartland granola for $9.00, and Lawrence got the Kitchenette special for $7.00, which made a total of $33.75. I couldn't believe it but we ate peacefully the whole time until the last 5 minutes when Lawrence was in the middle of eating and then thought of this morning and thought of what a real phantom would look like and he threw up. We got kicked out but not permanently. Then, I checked my watch and it said that the time was 10:15 a.m. So, then we went to see the Statue of Liberty. We bought Monument access tickets that let us go inside a museum and inside the statue of liberty that cost $12.00 each, which makes a total of $48.00. Now, that was a lot of money just for a monument and a long time wasted because of the line, but it was worth it! We got to see so many cool things and go inside the statue of liberty, but we kept getting squished by all the other visitors and the tour guide kept saying boring historical stuff. When we were done it was 11:45 a.m. So we decided to go eat brunch at Sarabeth's. There, we all got the big bad wolf that cost $8.25 each, which made a total of $33.00. There, I didn't even think it would be peaceful since the beginning because just the name of the food "big bad wolf" would be enough to get somebody in our group kind of mad but it turned out to be hot porridge with wheat berries, fresh cream, butter and brown sugar. So Colton got pretty mad because he thought they were killing animals to make that food. So, he almost got us kicked out again, but I threatened to spill his food on his blanky and Colton doesn't know how to wash food off of stuff so he just ate one bite and then went to the restroom to throw the rest away. So, when we were done it was 12:30 p.m. Then, we were bored so went back to the hotel and watched television until 2:45 p.m. When it was 2:45 p.m we drove to the AMC empire 25 theatre, which took us 15 minutes to drive to. We decided to watch race to witch mountain which started at 3:10 p.m. The tickets cost $12.50 per person, but you would also have to pay service charge for each person which was $1.00 a person, so actually it cost $13.50 per person, which made a total of $54.00. Colton didn't really like it but everybody else did! It was also like payback because Colton forced us to watch the Hannah Montana Movie that I hated, so now I made Colton watch something he doesn't like (but honestly I thought he'd like it). It was 1 hour and 39 minutes long, so when we were done watching it, it was 4:49 p.m, so we decided to get lunch at Manganaro's Heroboy. There, I got a grilled chicken sandwich for $8.50, Joseph got spaghetti for $8.00, Colton got the chicken cutlet (Italian style) for $8.00, and Lawrence got the roast turkey for $10.00, which made a total of $42.50. I was amazed from how good the food tasted compared to all the other restaurants we've went to in New York City. Also, I was glad to see that Colton wasn't going to get us kicked out this time because he was lost in his chicken cutlet. But, when I finally had good food, and Colton wasn't bothering me, and I thought everything was going to be okay, Lawrence ruins everything. He tries to bug Colton by flicking his ear, and I thought Colton didn't feel it because he didn't do anything the first 30 times Lawrence did it, but then he got mad and almost slammed his food in Lawrence's face, but then remembered how good is food tasted, so instead he slammed Lawrence's food in Lawrence's face! Everyone was laughing, but when I thought we were going to get kicked out, a person that worked in the restaurant came and just gave as a warning! I was so relieved. Then, when we were all done, it was 6:00 p.m. So, we went to eat dinner at 10th avenue pizza. There, Colton and I got spaghetti for $5.25 each, Joseph got the chicken cutlet parmiginana for $6.50, and Lawrence got the Broccoli for $7.00, which made a total of $24.00. This was the first restaurant where we ate peacefully and nothing happened. But, when we left that's when stuff went wrong. First, Colton started throwing up from how much food he ate. Then, an old lady thought we were on her yard, but she didn't get mad. But, since she thought Colton was throwing up on her yard she got mad and started hitting Colton on the head with a walking stick. Then, Colton started to hit back but she hit him back and they started fighting, but Colton never really knew who he was fighting! So, when he realized that it was an old lady hitting him on the head with a stick, he said, "Can I help you cross the street," and she said yes, so he walked her and then pushes her and runs away. So we ran away with him, and I checked my watch and it said it was 7:30 p.m. So, when we were done running, we didn't know where we were, so we looked around and we saw we were at a Broadway theater called the Minskoff theater, so we decided to watch Shrek the musical witch started at 8:00 p.m and right now it was 7:40 p.m. So, we bought tickets for $55.00 per person, (because we sat in row Q-R) which made a total of $165.00. But Colton thought the ogre was scary though, so he watched the Lion King, which also started at 8:00 p.m (but it wasn't the actually movie, it was a musical). The tickets cost $81.00 per person, and since Colton was the only person that was watching it it made a total of $81.00, so with the price of Shrek the musical and the Lion King, we spent $246.00. We've spent a total of $2769.54 on this trip so far. Joseph, Lawrence, and I liked Shrek the musical, but the song was just deck the halls, except they said Shrek the halls. But, Colton liked the Lion King and thought it was a healthy experience (but I don't get why he thought it was healthy). When the show was done, I checked my watch and it said that the time was 8:30 p.m. We were bored so we decided to go back to the hotel and get some shut eye. I was the first to wake up, I woke up at 7:00 a.m. I poked Colton so he would wake up but I made sure that he couldn't tell that I was there, and I got up and screamed (which really scared him). He was crying and he hid under the bed, but he still didn't know that it was me, so I was planning to take stuff from Colton's backpack but instead I found a skeleton hand, and reached it under the bed to scare Colton. He got scared but took the skeleton hand and broke it, then found out it was me because he found my hand, and then everything went black. But when I got up, everyone was awake, so I checked my watch and it said the time was 9:30 a.m, so we decided to get breakfast and start our third day in New York City!
First, we got breakfast at Norma's. I got the NYPD special for $11.00, Joseph got the buttery buttermilk pancakes for $5.00, Colton got the krispy kreme for $6.00, and Lawrence got the crunchy french toast for $14.00, which made a total of $36.00. Joseph, Lawrence, and I ate peacefully, but Colton kept getting mad because crispy creme is supposed to be spelled with a c at the beginning but they spelled it with a k at the beginning. We kept telling him they did that for no reason, but he kept thinking they were dumb and spelled it wrong. So, he only ate one bite of his krispy kreme and gave the rest to Lawrence. Colton was smiling though, but I don't know why (in fact, now that I think of it, he smiles in every restaurant we go to). Anyway, when we were done, it was 10:15 a.m, so we decided to go to the Central park zoo. The tickets cost $10.00 per person, so that made a total of $40.00. When we were there, we decided to go to the Polar circle, and the first place in the polar circle we went to was the penguin feeding and presentation, which started at 10:30 a.m (which I was relieved about because we arrived at the penguin feedings 10:28 a.m. We watched people who worked at the zoo feed the penguins fish, and we got to see the penguin dive everywhere to ge the fish. Joseph, Lawrence, and I were bored, but Colton thought it was cultural experience. So, after the penguin feeding and presentation, we went to see polar bears. But, this was different than just watching polar bears play around. In this, we get to see the polar bears from three different levels: ground level, above the polar bears, and underwater. Regular ground level was fine and nothing really happened. But, when we went underwater, Colton was screaming because he thought we were going to drown, but he kept looking through the windows and kept screaming until our tour guide told him to stop, so he did. But he was still scared so I kept telling him stuff to calm him down, and then it started working. But, Lawrence started saying stuff to get Colton scared again (and it worked). So, obviously I just let him keep getting scared (but I wasn't the only one annoyed by Colton, Colton was hiding behind Joseph and holding his legs). So then, when we went above the polar bears, Colton, Lawrence, and I were scared because we were afraid of heights, but only Colton screamed, and again the tour guide told him to be quiet. We all kept hiding behind Joseph, which really annoyed him, so since Joseph was the only one that wasn't afraid of heights, he kept threatning to push us off and let the polar bears eat us so we wouldn't annoy him. When it was all over, Colton, Lawrence, and I were terrified! Joseph was laughing though. So then we went to see some animals. First, we saw reptiles and Colton got really scared! He thought the snakes and alligators were after his shirt because it was all red, so he thought that they thought it was blood and he also thought they loved eating blood, so he ran away and took us with him as fast as he could. Next, we went to see the birds. Colton liked them at the beginning, but then saw their sharp claws and did the same thing as before. He kept doing that for every animal we saw, but he also kept asking when we could see the cows. We kept telling him the cows weren't at the zoo, but that just made him bug as even more, so we decided to tell him that we would see them last, so he would stop annoying us. So, after every animal we saw, (which Colton got scared of) I checked my watch and it said that the time was 1:30 p.m, and the zoo doesn't close until 5:00 p.m. So, since it was 1:30 p.m, we decided to go to the sea lion feeding and presentation, which took us 15 minutes to arrive to. When were there, we had to wait 15 more minutes because it started at 2:00 p.m. When it finally started, we realized that it was the same thing as the penguin feeding, except it was sea lions. So, when it was done, the time was 2:30 p.m. So, we decided to leave, but Colton asked us about seeing the cows and we said that if he closes his eyes we'll bring him to them. So he closed his eyes and we just put him in the car and left. So we decided to go get lunch at Mee Noodle Shop, which we got to at 2:55 p.m. I had the small chicken noodle soup for $2.00, Joseph had the small lo mein for $4.50, Colton had the pan fried noodles with vegetables for $7.00, and Lawrence had the noodle soup with chicken $4.90, which made a total of $18.40. We got chopsticks and Colton loved the chopsticks so much, that he named it choppy. But, choppy "accidently" flew out of Colton's hand and hit Lawrence on the head. Lawrence got mad and didn't know who did it, so he ignored it like a proper gentlemen. But then, Colton took my chopsticks and threw it at Lawrence again. Lawrence got even madder and noticed that my chopsticks were gone and he attacked me instead of Colton. Then, I said, "Colton did it." Then, Lawrence believed me and started attacking Colton. Then, the manager kicked Lawrence and Colton out because Joseph and I said they weren't with us, and Colton and Lawrence finished their fight outside while Joseph and I ate the rest of our food in peace. When we were done, it was 4:00 p.m. So, we decided to go back to the hotel and play Monopoly (but we don't have to pay for it, because I brought it). Lawrence won the first round, Joseph won the next round, Colton won the last round, and I didn't win any. Then, when we were done it was 6:00 p.m, so we went to get dinner at Brooklyn Diner. I got onion rings for $6.50, Joseph got the Roast chicken club for $16.00, Colton got the new england shrimp roll for $18.00, and Lawrence got the chinese chicken salad for $18.50, which made a total of $59.00. Colton gets mad because he thought since he got a shrimp roll that the shrimp would be rolled up. So, I kept telling him that it didn't matter, but he insisted that we should sew them. But, then I threatened to rip Colton's blanky, and he ate all his shrimp, and then he went to the restrom to throw up. We waited 15 minutes for him to come back, then he finally came back, and we decided to leave. It was 6:45 p.m, so we decided to the AMC Empire 25 theatre again, which we arrived in at 6:55 p.m. But, this time we watched Star Trek. But, the movie started at 7:30 p.m, so we bought the tickets, which were $12.50 per person, plus a service charge which was $1.00 per person, which made a total of $54.00. So far we've spent $2,976.92 on this trip so far. We watched it and everyone liked it except for Colton because he thought that all the fighting in it was real, and that people were dying just for a movie, so he left in the middle of it, and waited for us outside. It was awesome, especially the action parts. So, since the movie was 2 hours and 6 minutes long, we got out at 9:36 p.m. When we got outside, we found out that Colton was sleeping on a bench, and that kids were staring at him, so we grabbed him and we headed back to the hotel. So, by the time we got to the hotel and got into our room, it was 10:00 p.m, so we decided to watch some television and go to bed. The next morning, Lawrence was the first to wake up, he woke up at 7:15 a.m and he got a skeleton hand out of Colton's backpack and put it on my face. I woke up and was so scared that I grabbed the skeleton hand, and flipped it over and since Lawrecne was holding it tightly, he flipped with it, and I got so mad and was about to hit him but then I thought that that flip hurt enough. But, Colton was awake and saw the whole thing and didn't think that was enought, so he was hitting Lawrence really hard and was hitting him with a pillow as hard as he could. So, I would've stopped it but "I was too tired" and didn't feel like it, then "accidently" dropped another pillow so Lawrence could fight back. The fight went on for a while, and Joseph woke up and saw the fight and was also "too tired" to tell them to stop. But the wierd was that I think I saw Joseph smile, anyway at 9:00 a.m, I told them to stop, so we could start out last day in New York City!
First, we decided to get breakfast at The Pink Teacup, which we got to at 9:30 a.m. There, I got an egg omlet for $2.75, Joseph got banana pancakes for $6.25, Colton got plain pancakes for $5.00, and Lawrence got fried chicken with corn fritter or apple fritters (but Lawrence chose apple fritters) for $10.00, which makes a total of $24.00. We all enjoyed our meals, but none of us could figure out why Lawrence had fried chicken for breakfast, so I asked him and he just looked at me, and then just finished eating. We all enjoyed our food, except for Lawrence because he ate fired chicken for breakfast, so he went to throw up. When he came back it was 10:30 a.m, so we decided to leave and go back to the hotel. We got back to the hotel at 11:00 a.m. We played a quick 30 minute game of Risk, but we played it 4 times. I won the first one, Joseph won the next two, Lawrence won the last one, and Colton didn't win anything. So, when we were done, it was 1:00 p.m, so we decided to go get brunch at Little Giant, which we got to at 1:30 p.m. I got the breakfast burrito for $13.00, Joseph got the fisherman's breakfast for $15.00, Lawrence got the little giant burger for $14.00, and Colton got the baked french toast for $14.00, which made a total of $46.00. We all had a good time but Colton couldn't figure out why Lawrence's burger was called little giant burger because it was normal sized. He also couldn't figure out why name of the restaurant was little giant because that just doesn't makes sense, because if there's a little giant, than why is it called a giant? Another thing he didn't get was why they baked his french toast. There were more things he didn't get but I dont have time to tell you the other 486 things. But, overall we all had a good time. Excpet for Colton, his time there was terrible. Anyway, we were done with our food and it was 2:25 p.m. So, we decided to do something fun, but there wasn't anything fun to do, until Joseph and Lawrence found the Asia Society and Museum, that they saw at 2:40 p.m. They begged me and Colton to go, then Colton said, only if you give me $10, so Joseph gave him $10 , but it was really 10 fake dollars that Joseph brought from home. So we went inside the Asia Society and Art Museum and it looked awesome! The admission was $10 per person, so that made $40 total. We got in side at 3:00 p.m, and we agreed that we'll stay there for 2 hours. The museum was awesome! But Colton didn't really like it that much, because he didn't see any paintings, and he thougth that all museums were art museums, so he was upset. But, Joseph, Lawrence, and I had a lot of fun! We saw so much historical things, but we were exhausted because it was an 8 floor museum. It had been 1 hour and 15 minutes, so far, so we started to go back down the stairs (which we hated). But, then when we were about to go to the sixth floor, Joseph made me do something I hated. He knew that I was afraid of heights, so he told me to come look through a window, so I looked threw it and got so scared that I fell on the ground (and it hurt). So, then we went down the 8 floors and by then it was 2 hours and 30 minutes because we had to keep stopping because Lawrence to keep looking at stuff. So, we left and the time was 5:30 p.m, so we decided to go eat dinner at Antique Cafe. I had the steak frites for $24.00, Colton and Joseph had free range chicken for $18.00 each, Lawrence had the shrimp fettuccine for $20.00, and we all had a house salad for $8.00 each, which makes a total of $112.00. Colton was happy that he picked something that Joseph picked because he thought that food that Joseph ate made him smarter, so he ate the whole thing really fast and didn't even throw up this time! He didn't even look at me though, and I'm pretty sure it was because I was eating steak. Joseph took the longest to finish his for some reason, and Lawrence was sad because he wanted to go back to that museum, so only ate half of his food and threw the rest away. My steak tasted great, and I didn't really care that Colton wasn't looking at me, because that way he wouldn't annoy me. When we were done, it was 7:00 p.m, so we went back to the hotel and checked out, then we went to the airport to go to St Louis, Missouri! The total cost of this trip was $3,198.92.
